Jump to navigationJump to searchThe timeline for the PostgreSQL 9.3 development cycle was initially planned at the PgCon 2012 Developer Meeting. The schedule is based on the 9.2 timeline moved forward one year, with some optimizations based on developer feedback.
- June 1, 2012: branch off 9.2, committing into head/trunk/master for 9.3 can begin.
- June 15, 2012 - July 15, 2012: commit fest 1. Primarily for contributors who are not involved in preparing the 9.2 release.
- September 15, 2012 - October 15, 2012: commit fest 2
- November 15, 2012 - December 15, 2012: commit fest 3
- Dec 8-15 Final feature planning week
- January 15, 2013 - February 15, 2013: commit fest 4
- Final Triage: Feb 1–7
- Around February 20, 2013: 9.3 alpha release
- Possibly more alpha releases
- Beta releases
- Release candidates
