About
Explore the dynamic intersection of PostgreSQL and artificial intelligence! This half-day summit is designed for the developers, engineers, data scientists, and AI enthusiasts who are building the next generation of intelligent applications. The summit is structured around two parallel tracks, to gain a comprehensive understanding of how PostgreSQL and AI are shaping the future of technology. The afternoon culminates in a combined expert panel discussion where leaders from both tracks will converge to debate the future of the field, followed by a networking session with drinks.
This track is dedicated to leveraging PostgreSQL as a powerful backend for AI applications. Sessions will dive deep into vector embeddings, semantic, hybrid search, vector search extensions in PostgreSQL, and the architectures for building sophisticated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and intelligent search systems.
The Tracks
- Track 1: Vector & RAG
This track is dedicated to leveraging PostgreSQL as a powerful backend for AI applications. Sessions will dive deep into vector embeddings, semantic, hybrid search, vector search extensions in PostgreSQL, and the architectures for building sophisticated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and intelligent search systems.
- Track 2: AI & Tools
This track focuses on the AI and ML applications, how to enhance and manage PostgreSQL itself with it, as well as building AI-powered agents to interact with PostgreSQL data and operate PostgreSQL. It also covers ML-driven performance tuning, and the innovative tools that make running a smarter, more efficient database a reality.
What You Will Learn:
- Build Smarter AI applications: Learn about vector extensions (pgvector and alternatives) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to create powerful semantic search, recommendation engines, and other AI-powered features directly within PostgreSQL.
- Optimize your database with AI: Discover how to apply machine learning and AI agents to automate performance tuning, analyze workload patterns, and manage your database more effectively.
- Master end-to-end AI architecture: Understand the complete lifecycle of an AI application, from managing vector data and leveraging GPUs to building intuitive user interfaces.
- Avoid common pitfalls: Gain practical insights from real-world use cases on how to implement AI solutions securely and efficiently without "breaking everything."
- See the future of databases: Hear from industry experts about the emerging trends at the intersection of PostgreSQL and artificial intelligence, and what they mean for your projects.
Whether you're looking to optimize your database with AI or build powerful AI features on top of your data, the PostgreSQL & AI Summit offers the insights, connections, and knowledge you need.
