Mailing List Creation Policies

Overview

This is meant to document our existing way of creating and maintaining mailing lists. It is not an exhaustive resource, but should highlight the important ways that we keep our community involved and aware of mailing lists that are created, used and archived by the postgresql.org infrastructure teams.

Announcing the creation of a list

When a new list is created, we should announce that it was done on pgsql-www@lists.postgresql.org.
