- Description -- EDB Postgres Ark is Database as a Service (DBaaS) infrastructure software that allows operations teams to deploy Postgres databases across multiple cloud providers including Amazon Web Services, OpenStack clouds, Microsoft Azure (2H2017). Ark gives IT operations staff the administrative customization, control, flexibility and agility to fully manage a data architecture while preserving the speed, ease of use, and vendor choice available from low cost cloud computing providers. Ark's ReSTful API allows integration into DevOps infrastructures built with scripting tools like Chef and Puppet and supports Pivotal's Cloud Foundry PaaS.
