[edit] Sponsorship levels

PostgreSQL maintains the following levels of sponsorship. You may see our sponsors by going to the following link: http://www.postgresql.org/about/sponsors .

Platinum Entities who have provided at least 3 full years of significant and recurring contribution to PostgreSQL.
Gold Entities who have provided at least 2 full years of significant and recurring contribution to PostgreSQL.
Silver Entities who have provided at least 1 full year of significant and recurring contribution to PostgreSQL.
Bronze Entities who have provided a significant contribution in the last 12 months to PostgreSQL.

Sponsorship levels are meant to provide the general public an idea of how levels are determined. They are not set in stone and all sponsorship recognition shall be determined on its own merits by the Sponsorship Committee as determined by a simple majority vote.

[edit] Sponsorship Committee

Using the guidelines above, sponsorship is ultimately determined by the Sponsorship committee. The current members are:

  • Josh Berkus
  • Joshua Drake
  • Dave Page
  • Robert Treat
  • Jonathan S. Katz

The current method of choosing who qualifies as a sponsor is via simple majority vote of those in the committee.
